About Me

Sam Wilkinson

I Help Busy People Find The Time To Help Themselves Feel Good.

A bit about me

Sport and fitness have always been important to me. As a kid I played rugby, football and cricket, and I enjoyed the way exercise made me feel. Joining the marines took my fitness to a whole new level and I became used to pushing my body to its absolute limit. After dabbling in power lifting and strongman training, I returned to my early love of rugby. These days I maintain a balance and try to fit elements from lots of different areas into my training.

I love food, I love a beer after rugby and have an active social life – for me, your health and fitness have to fit into your life, not the other way around. There’s no point looking good if it’s at the expense of everything you enjoy, feeling miserable along the way and beating yourself up because you had a drink at the weekend.

My approach

I believe your health and wellbeing largely dictates the quality of your life. Few people can TRULY be happy whilst they are limited in the things they can do because they lack confidence in themselves, are too overweight, are in too much pain or simply don’t believe they can.

For over 4 years I have worked with a diverse range of clients using an approach based on building simple habits into their current lifestyle. These habits support the life they want to live and get them the results they want.

I’m not a shouty, tell people what to eat/drink/ do kind of PT. Instead, I encourage clients to take ownership of their goals and their challenges, while equipping and supporting them to make long term change. Regularly reviewing and adapting the process along the way, together we find a method to suit them that gets results and that is sustainable.
